This dreary, drizzly morning has me departing Saskatoon for Calgary to attend and present at the 2010 edition of GeoAlberta.
The focus of the conference this year is "Spatial Intelligence". Smart, location-based decision making has become increasingly important as the GIS industry has moved from the simple production of intelligent maps to sophisticated tools and applications that now guide core decision making processes in an organization
The conference has plenty to offer with a wide variety of presentations, and I am presenting a session on CAD and GIS integration with AutoCAD Map 3D and Autodesk MapGuide on Tuesday morning.
I look forward to seeing many colleagues and friends, and I’m sure there is going to be some great discussions and many laughs.
Until next time,
Take care
Warren M
