Starting March 1st, clients with Map 3D or Civil 3D on Subscription will be able to upgrade to the Infrastructure Design Suite with no up-front cost. The only difference will be in the price of Subscription at time of renewal - you will pay the cost of the Infrastructure Design Suite Subscription. Autodesk is notifying contract managers of this option today.
This is a great deal since you'll get access to Raster Design, Navisworks, Storm and Sanitary Analysis or Infrastructure Modeler (based on Suite type) as well as your existing product. Map 3D clients can upgrade to Infrastructure Design Suite Standard and those with Civil 3D can move to Infrastructure Design Suite Premium. Again, there is no up-front cost for this upgrade and no action required to accept the offer. Anyone with Map 3D or Civil 3D and a valid Subscription contract as of March 28, 2013 will be able to get Infrastructure Design Suite from the Subscription Center when it is available.
If you would prefer to maintain your Map 3D or Civil 3D Subscription as a lone product, you'll need to notify Autodesk. Information on opting-out from the program will come via email from Autodesk.
