How did you sketch your pathes?

Hey Doug, thanks for the question.

1. Start a sketch (The sketch plane chosen doesn't really matter for this.) and make sure you have the "3D Sketch" option selected in the sketch palette.
2. Use the "Include 3D Geometry" to project the points on the profiles.
3. Draw lines connecting the points.
4. Use the "Project to Surface" command to project the lines you just drew to the surface of the cylinder.

Now you should have the correct paths to create the loft. Hope this helps.
