Ever Want To Turn Off Your Double Click Editing?

We have the ability in AutoCAD to move our mouse over an Object  lets say a Mtext object and double click and it will go into the edit command. however in some cases this can get in the way. So if you need to have this turned off here is how we can do this.

 
1.) launch options (right in the command line and select options)
 
2.) Go to the User Preferences tab
 
3.) in the upper left you will see Windows Standard Behavior under this uncheck Double click Editing
 
4.) Select OK 
 
Now the Double Click editing has been disabled.
