Here's a good feature that was added in Inventor 2013 that you might forget to use.
In the Model Brower, the
option in the right-click menu that's available for any feature (except, of course, for the last one).
Sometimes you need to move the
indicator to add features in between others or just remove them from the Model calculation.
You would normally drag the
indicator that's at the bottom of the Model Browser and place it in between other features.
Instead use the Shortcut Menu, right-click and choose Move EOP Marker!
I't s much easier than dragging and it places the End of Part right under the feature that you right-click on.
Once the has been moved and you want to move it to the beginning of the part right-click and choose
.
The End of Part gets repositioned right under the Origin folder.
If you choose
, it'll place it back at the end of the part file.
The last option
will do as it states and delete anything below the
.
