At the command line type 3DCONFIG, you will see the Adaptive Degradation and Performance Tuning dialog box. (see image below) Check mark the Remind me when a new display driver is available in the lower right hand side of the dialog box and the software will notify you when there is a new driver available.
If you’d like to manually check for to see if there’s a newer driver, you can always check on Autodesk website at this link and follow the steps below.
On the Autodesk website you will see where you can choose the vendor of your card, the type of card you have, and what drivers you’d like to have displayed in the list. After picking your options select the Display List button from the lower right hand side of display box. (see image below)
From the list find the newest driver number for your graphics card and operating system. Select the plus sign that is next to your computer’s operating system and this will expand the list so you can download your driver update. You can start downloading the driver by selecting the word here under the comments section. (see image below)
