Why won't my points update with the new elevation when I make changes to my surface?

Kevin Breslin

Regarding Points updating based on surface elevations: If the label is associated to a Civil 3D Point object, the point elevation will be what dictates the value of the label and not the Surface. Surface labels will react to elevation changes associated to modified Surfaces.

@ANdy: In this Blog you are creating Points with Labels not Surface labels. So if you edit the Surface the Point has not been edited and stays where it is and thus the label stays as it is.
