I have a question about getting started with the GDAL program.

I'm new to it as I just downloaded per your instructions above.

I can't find a "command Path" to input C:\OSGeo4W64\bin\ gdal_translate.exe

Good question as Windows has moved things around a bit. I take it you are referring to the environment path mentioned. That can be found at Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced System Settings. Once you are in there, click on Environment Variables towards the bottom. There, you can enter the path
