**Update: See the full video with audio here: 20 Tips in 20 Minutes**
This year at AU2009 I conducted a Inventor 20 tricks in 20 minutes presentation on the exhibit room floor. I figured I would post them here as well for those that wanted to see them again as well as my current readers that could not attend the show. I am going to break this down into four posts...Sketching, Parts, Assemblies, and Drawing Manager. Here are my next 5 tips involving part modeling...
Tip 1: Texture Alignment - create texture alignments to the X, Y, & Z axes.
Tip 2: Inline Work Features -sometimes it is necessary to create one work feature before the desired one and can be accomplished in that desired feature's command by right clicking.
Tip 3: iFeature Icons - Click Link here to old post
Tip 4: Member Scope - create member modification instead of family modifications for iPart families.
Tip 5: Axial Pattern - Click Link here to tutorial
I hope you enjoyed these tips, sometimes even the little things you miss in training can make you much more productive, and for every tip that involves less mouse clicks you stave off the carpal tunnel syndrome yet another day!
Mark, will you please comment your tips a bit?
What is a tip#1 about?
Do you recommend to have 3 versions of each of textured colors?

In reference to you question, yes I have three color styles in order to do this.
