Hi David,

Thank you for the post, very well written and exactly what I was looking for.
Am I jumping the gun here? when I use this tube component in my T&P design the flared ends do not show on the modelled tube. Am I missing something or does Inventor disregard the flares?

Cheers,
Neil

Hi Neil,

You aren't missing anything. End treatments for tubing in Inventor's Tube and Pipe environment are not displayed. My understanding is that, in the Tube and Pipe environment, the tube is being remade with a sweep feature using the parameters of the authored part when you populate a route. Rigid conduit will show end treatments and so will parts placed directly from the content center outside of the Tube and Pipe environment. Unfortunately this is not the case with tubing (and hose).

Cheers,
David
