CATIA V5 Tip: How to Export the Assembly Structure from the Specification Tree

When you want to export the CATIA assembly structure from the specification tree, go to File menu > Save As.  Under Save as type, select text file.

After completing the save as operation, you will get a text file that contains only your specification tree.
