CATIA Tip: How to Measure Arc Length

To measure the length of an arc:

1. In the Sketcher Workbench, locate the Measure toolbar,   .
2. Click on the   (Measure Item) tool.
3. The Measure Item dialog box is launched, as shown

 

4. Select the arc edge you want to measure.

 

5. Click on       button.

6. The Measure Item Customization dialog box is launched, as shown.

7. Go to the Arc column of the Measure Item Customization dialog box.

8. Select      option to show the arc length. 

If needed, more information for the arc can be displayed like, Angle, Radius, Diameter, etc.

 

9. Click the     button to finish the measurement.
