When attempting to repair or completely uninstall your Autodesk software you get an error message "Failed to get allied products".
This error is stemming from the operating system (OS) meaning, that the OS is not able to find the software to remove it. You will need to try to remove it with a third party application. Have your IT department try to get the software off of the machine by using the Microsoft Fix It Center. You can also try REVO Uninstaller Pro by downloading the 30 day trial. This software has the ability to force an uninstallation of any software from your computer. If you are unable to remove the Autodesk software you will have to get your IT to reimage your machine as there is no other way around this error.
I cannot get the DCONLINE to work when I pull up the ADCENTER. I have opened the CAD MANAGER and activated the DCONLINE function but it fails to show up when I use AutoCad 2012.

Hello Brian,
Are you by chance trying to work with a file that was created in 2013?
Thanks

I had this issue and found Microsoft Fix It Center - http://support.microsoft.com/fixit/ - worked perfectly and removed the problem programs. Thanks for the tip!

Hello WPottinger,
Yes that microsoft fixit tool is great! I use it all the time when things will not install or uninstall. Thanks for mentioning it here.
