Inventor 2013 Update 2 is available and fixes critical problems in the program. Included in it is all the fixes that were in Update 1 and the Inventor Vault Add-In Hotfix.
Download the DL20082900.zip and extract its files. Run the _32-bit.msp or _64-bit.msp file based on your operating system. The Inventor Vault Add-In DL19384851.msp can be run after this.
As with Update 1 it's not a service pack but contains many critical fixes to the program (it's the equivalent to a collection of Hotfixes).

• Frame Generator Member parts do not honor the selected custom material
• Content Center refresh does not refresh Content Center part material after user selects the correct material library
• Use of custom library shows incorrect density on physical iProperties
• Graphic slices shown on parts with singularities
• Materials & Appearances are not being updated properly from style library
• Appearance thumbnails from custom library are not showing the correct colors - all gray**
**After Update 1 is installed edit thumbnails in-document & copy back to the library to fully resolve.

You can verify if the Hotfix is applied by going to Control Panel>Programs>View installed updates. You'll see the Update listed under Autodesk Inventor 2013.
It won't show up in Inventor Under Help>About Autodesk Inventor or change the build number.
