When open your AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP and your tool palette is not showing the correct palettes and the only options available when right click on the tool palette bar is "All Palettes" and "Design". This can be the results of a corrupt installation or the software was accidentally opened using a different AutoCAD profile.
Here are a few ways to fix this error that I have found to work all the time without having to uninstall and reinstall the software;
- From the profile tab verify the current profile being used. If its set to the Global profile then this is why you're seeing a different interface and tool palette. Global will only have tool palette options for Design.
To avoid opening your software with a Global profile verify the desktop shortcut is not say Global in the name. Its best to delete this icon from the desktop as well.
- Reset Settings to Default for the software. Here is a blog written by Jeff Lotan on how to reset the settings of your Autodesk software http://blogs.rand.com/support/2011/03/autocad-2012-new-feature-reset-settings-to-default-is-better-than-sliced-bread.html

Buena suerte,
