Ever want to know visually if a Layer is Locked. We can do with a Variable called LAYLOCKFADECTL this variable will allow you to control the fade you have for Locked Layers. So if a Layer is locked and this value is set to a positive number then the Object will fade. The value is the percentage the Object will fade. Any number in the positive is the percentage it fades so if an LAYLOCKFADECTL is set to 50 then the Objects on a Locked layer will be faded 50%. The maximum number is 90 so the Locked layers do not get confused with Turned Off Layers. When the number is 0 there is no Fade. Any number in the negative is No Fade. Why have the numbers in the negative? so these numbers can be saved and reset to Fade by adding the negative symbol.
