The IMAGINiT development team has implemented a new network license manager for the 2015 utilities. The Reprise License Manager.
It is pretty easy to setup, almost the same as the flexlm version we used for the 2014 and prior utilities. I'll give you a quick overview.
If you are not on subscription with us and purchased the utilities online, then you should have received an email with a link to download the program and an Authcode.
If you are on subscription with IMAGINiT then you get the tools for free ( a savings of $195-$999 per seat depending on the utility) and you can login to our portal to download and generate your Authcode. The following blogs will help you obtain an Authcode. It's the same steps for network and standalone, you just need to select which one you want.

Once you've downloaded the software and Generated/Obtained your Authcode here's what you need to do next:
Here's an overview of the next steps:
- Install the IMAGINiT Reprise License Manager (RLM).
- Use the Setup Helper to generate the license and start the service.
Installing the Reprise License Manager.
1) Once you have downloaded the Network version of the Utilities for Revit/Civil 3D. Extract the .zip files.
2) Browse to and double-click the IMAGINiTLicenseServer.exe
3) Click “Next”
4) If you agree to the terms, then Select “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and click Next. Otherwise cancel the install.
5) Click Install
6) And yes, it may take several minutes…
7) C:\Program Files (x86)\IMAGINiT Technologies\Reprise License Manager Click “Finish”
8) Once you click Finish (possibly even before) you should see the SetupHelper come up. The installation if the Reprise License Manager is now complete.
Now it's installed!
Use the Setup Helper to generate the license and start the service.
If you still have the SetupHelper on the screen then go to step 2.
1) Browse to “C:\Program Files (x86)\IMAGINiT Technologies\Reprise License Manager” and double-click “SetupHelper.exe”, you will need to use Windows Explorer to get to it as we do not provide a shortcut icon).
2) Double click it and click Authorize License button on the License File tab
3) Paste in the Authcode you generated earlier. Everything is just like the last version but we don’t need an Options file for most of these. There is still a “Named” version for those that Purchase the seats, however it’s a floating license for those on subscription.
At this point you can watch the status as it communicates with the IMAGINiT servers to generate the license file and put it in place.
4) SUCCESS!!! Click “OK”
5) Click the “Set Port” button. It will become active after you’ve done the “Authorize License” step.
6) Enter 27051, it may or may not default to 27051 and click “Ok”
7) Click “Ok” again.
You should now see “27051” in the top line.
8) Click the “Start” button on the “Service” tab, wait a few seconds then click the “View Log” button to see if there were any errors.
If it is error free, then you should have licenses available.
