Is your AutoCAD Ribbon text missing?

Problem: The Ribbon text "Page Setup Manager" was missing alongside the Page Setup Manager button on the Plot panel of the Output tab.

It was actually that the text was too large to fit in the field so it didn't display at all. We changed the text from "Page Setup Manager" to "Page Setup" and then the text showed up.

To change the text associated with a ribbon button do the following:
1) Locate the buttons panel name and tab name. In this case it was the Plot panel on the Output tab.

2) Enter CUI at the command line.
3) Expand out the Ribbon options.
4) Find and select the correct tab and panel.
5) Select "Output-Plot" under Ribbon>Tabs>Output>Output-Plot.

6) In the upper right you'll see "Page Setup Manager", select it.
7) Change the text in Display>Name from "Page Setup Manager" to "Page Setup"

8) Click Apply
9) Click Ok

Now it should display next to the button.

Alternatively you can change the setting in Windows:

1) Open Control Panel
2) Select All Control Panel Items
3) Select Display (or Right click your desktop and select Personalize then click Display on the left sidebar menu)
4) Changing the Display setting (Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Display) from "Larger 150%" to "Medium - 125%" or "Small - 100%
