Sometimes we need to change our Temp Folder that AutoCAD uses. This can be due to things such as restricted Users needed to change this, Perhaps a certain configuration needed by your IT. Here is how we can do this.

How to Move your Temp folder Location for AutoCAD
1.) Launch Your AutoCAD Software (or AutoCAD Based).
2.) Launch the Options dialog (Type Options and select the <Enter> key or Right click on your command line and select options).
3.) Select the files Tab.
4.) Find the Listing called "Temporary Drawing File Location".
5.) select Plus symbol (+) to expand this.
6.) Highlight the current path and on the upper right select Browse Button.
7.) Browse to the new folder you could like this in Highlight this Folder and select OK.
8.) You should see the new path listed.
9.) Then select Ok to go back to the Drawing Window.
You have now moved your AutoCAD Temp folder to a new location.
