When launching Revit 2016 it hangs at the splash screen and doesn't go any further.
Solution:
- Open your Task Manager
- Go to the Processes tab
- Find WSCommCntr4.exe
- Select on it then click on the End Process button.

Revit 2016: Hangs when opening the software
