In an Inventor drawing, if dimensions are already created and you need to change the dimension style they're on, you can use CTRL+select or a crossing window selection manually around the sheet to change it. Then choose the dimension style you want to apply to them.
But there's a better way to select them all and assign that dimension style to them: use the built-in Dimension Object filters.
Start by changing the Object Filters in the Quick Access toolbar:
Quick Access Toolbar
In the Object Filters here are the options:
This selects all dimensions →choose this option if you want to change all dimensions
This selects retrieved model dimensions only
This selects dimensions where the value was hidden and overwritten.
Make the Annotate ribbon tab active
In the Format panel there's a list of available dimension styles in the drawing in the pull-down menu.
Choose the Dimension Style to apply:
From the pull-down menu choose the dimension style to apply to all the selected dimensions.
All the dimensions will be updated!
