Autodesk Product Key information.

The product keys typically remain the same except Autodesk increments the letter each year.  So we can cheat! 

If you look at AutoCAD 2013-2018 it looks like this:

• AutoCAD 2013  001E1
• AutoCAD 2014  001F1
• AutoCAD 2015  001G1
• AutoCAD 2016  001H1
• AutoCAD 2017  001I1
• AutoCAD 2018  001J1

Now look at that 2017 product key, it could easily be mistaken for the number one or a lower case L (l).  But, it is an upper case i as in India.

This has been one of the reasons when trying to "activate" a standalone license you receive the "invalid serial number" message.
