I recently had a case where some off grid columns were not showing on the graphic column schedule. Since all of the columns in question were Round Concrete columns that is where I started my search. After much testing and checking all of the obvious things: the family, setting of the schedule, phasing, visibility graphics, materials, and everything looked as it should. I tested further and took the columns into a new project to see if the issue persisted, which it did.
It turned out that the columns that weren't showing up did not have the Column Location Mark in properties, which meant that there was no way for the Graphic Column Schedule to locate them!
This can happen for a few possible reasons:
- The columns were placed before the grid
- The columns were not placed by grid intersection
- The columns were created from a point cloud
Resolution
All of the columns will need to be placed by grid then moved into their off grid location.
