If you've been frustrated to see your 3D models showing as wireframe equipment created in AutoCAD Plant 3D in your drawing when opened in Navisworks Manage, then here are details for a solution.
Some, but perhaps not all 3D models are displayed as wireframe.
You may have located this Autodesk discussion thread, Wireframe When it shouldn't be? and followed these steps:
1. Open Navisworks
2. Open the Options Editor [F12]
3. Expand File Readers > DWG/DXF
4. Ensure the Render Mode select box is set to "Shaded"
5. Open your file or hit F5 to refresh the model if it is already open.
If that procedure still had no effect, then you will either need to load the Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2017 Object Enablers, or if they are already loaded, then unload and load them again.
You can confirm if you need the Plant 3D OE by viewing the details in the Scene Statistics with the .nwf file loaded. If the statistics are long, you can copy and paste into Notepad and search for 'object enabler'.

Missing object enabler for application ""PnP3dStructureObjects|Product Desc: Plant 3dPiping |Company: Autodesk, Inc |WEB Address: http://www.autodesk.com"" (959 objects)
If you see this message, 'Missing object enabler for application ""PnP3dStructureObjects' in the Scene Statistics, then check if you have 'Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D 2017 Object Enabler' installed as shown in the Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
If it's already loaded, then double click it, select 'Add or Remove Features' then uncheck and click Update for Autodesk Naviswork Manager. Then return to the same location and load it again.
With that done, then the wireframe objects should display correctly.
