You notice the Inventor 'Place Constraint' dialog box is now slower to open after Windows 10 Update 1709 is installed.
This is a known issue, logged as Incident ID: 10760.
See the Autodesk knowledge base article for any updates:
The workarounds are to uninstall the update or Build 1709 or wait for the dialog box to open:
- Uninstall the Microsoft Windows Update KB4043961
- Uninstall Build 1709 and the issue should not appear.
- Wait for the Place Constraint dialog box appearing
Update:
Install these hotfixes for Inventor 2017, 2018 to fix the problem
I'm still having a problem with this. After backing out 1709 I did not see the KB4043961 update listed. Is there anything else that needs to be done?

Hi David, Autodesk has an update for Inventor 2017(2017.4.3) that fixes the problem. For Inventor 2018 wait for an upcoming hotfix in your Desktop App or Autodesk Accounts.
